Today Ms. M. has been kind enough to show her photos from her recent trip to Mauritius. She was not, however, comfortable showing bikini shots, for which reason I do not know. However, I did get to see a picture of the young man she was spending time with while on Holiday:

Not exactly what I expected, but I guess sometimes experience is important. Just ask Justin...

Tonight is trivia night, which I am looking forward too, but I don't know if I can handle going out four nights in a row. May have to stick to the bundy tonight and not attempt to drink beer.

Mr. Bean and I were watching my new favourite program, Extreme Makeover last night, and were frightened to discover that while making the Crime Scene Investigator look 15 years younger, they managed to make a quite attractive and very sweet young woman

look 15 years older.

Her poor little boy looked up at her and was all confused... I think he wanted to ask, "Hey skanky lady, where is my mommy!!!"

I had my first listen to The Darkness today, and can't decide if I can get over the whole "throwback" idea. I am not big on satirical music and I can't decide if they are good musically. However I have been obsessed with The Donnas for quite a few years (they sent me a badge and calendar in the mail the other day...) and they are a bit of a throwback themselves...

Will have to give the album several listenings before making a final decision.

This morning I suddenly blurted out the comment "Germans Love David Hasselhoff" having no idea why.

There was much discussion of his successful European singing career and the fact that he once worked with a talking car. I made one of the most frightening discovery of my life in tracking down this video, and wondered why Tarantino didn't use that version for his film. I was also able to track down a template for a lovely Hasselhoff paper airplane, which will come in very handy this Friday afternoon in the office. The amount of sites devoted to the Knight Rider is staggering, with some actually devoted to his worship, or his status as the Antichrist...

My first memories of the man come, disturbingly enough, as a somewhat blury memory of my mom calling him "sexy," especially in the way he portrayed hunky Dr. Snapper, on The Young and the Restless. Everytime I heard the familiar theme song, I knew that there would be oohs and ahhs over the man named after a whitefish (although as far as I know, he was not OBGYN).
