Push MY Button

Well, after a whirlwind of wine tasting, and massive amounts of work, I am once again back in the swing of things. Time is getting away from me in every which way, and I am suddenly realizing that I have to get plane tickets for Christmas rather soon. I haven't decided whether or not to head through Europe, or try to do some boarding in Tahoe. Anyone else I need to visit? Anyway, some catch up since I've been gone:

Today sees the release of Sugababe's new album, Taller in More Ways. If you are into intelligent pop music, make sure you pick it up, especially you state siders who often miss out on UK pop. Push the Button is already number one in the U.K. singles chart, keeping Robbie Williams annoying verse, catchy chorus Trippin' at number two.

About 8 months ago, I was dating a very sweet young lady who handed me her ipod mini, and suggested that I listen to The Go Team's Thunder Lightning Strike during my run. We have parted ways, but the album is still on my heavy rotation list. After some annoying legal battles, the U.S. release is available now, one year since the original was released. See Pitchfork for the back-story and the thumbs up, bitches.

I can't get Japanese Gum by Her Space Holiday out of my head today! (Click Link for Legal MP3)

It's not like I'm a slut
Or that I really like to fuck
I just want every boy I see
To walk away with part of me

Season 2 of Veronica Mars has been pretty, pretty, pretty good. Not only does it feature Charisma Carpenter as a bikini clad yummy mummy, the last episode ended with The Pixies, Where is my Mind, ala Fight Club.

That's it for today, my belly hurts from too many cupcakes and Pinot last night.
